Palm Sunday Painting

For 2 years now, I have painted a crucifixion related picture while our pastor delivers the sermon. It has stretched me in ways I can't explain. The time constraint (40 minutes or so) pushes you to paint fast. The environment (rented school) limits my frenetic painting style so this year's painting is much more controlled. I'm really looking forward to our church getting in our own building. This will free me up to paint larger, wilder...free up the creativity.
