Just listened to a story on Weekend America about this prop shop in Santa Monica. They carry old scientific equipment, the type you might see in an old Frankenstein movie. Pretty cool stuff. i think i've seen this place on mythbusters...i have a feeling you'd love to be set free in their shop for a few hours by yourself...
