The more I thought about it, Gladys' voice didn't sound right.
And then it dawned on me: Gladys sounded a whole lot like Jonathan Winters did when he imitated an older woman.
Could Gladys be a man with impeccable comedic timing posing as an elderly woman?
So, I scoured the Internet to see if she was real or a fake. Here's what I found:
