Have you seen this article about the meteorite in Peru that made everyone sick? Of course, there's now someone refuting that it was a meteorite but I just found the whole thing interesting. You can read an article and see pictures here.This could be a great seed of an idea to make a sci-fi film. It's definitely similar to The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton but it would be fun to play around with it and come up with some new invasion tale.
